ECC has invented, developed, designed and fabricated new improvements to the century-old ABSORPTION technology. Absorption cycles can make refrigeration down to -40°F; or heat pumped hot water for space heating or domestic hot water; or both chilling and heating at the same time. Our products can be driven by waste heat from engines, turbines, boilers, thermal oxidizers, solar thermal, biomass, biogas, geothermal, or any source of waste heat. Absorption increases industrial energy efficiency by decreasing electricity required for refrigeration.

About Our Facility

Energy Concepts has facilities in Annapolis and Hanover, Maryland. Our fabrication shops are fully equipped with advanced welding, milling, shearing, punching, drilling, and bending capabilities.

Our laboratory is equipped with instrumentation, utilities and data acquisition for testing, flow visualization, and analyzing advanced prototypes. We build our own control panels in our Annapolis electronics shop. Our engineering offices are in Annapolis.
